Finally!
It's been just about a year and a half since I decided a 2022 NX was going to be my next car, and I FINALLY have one reserved in my name!
It's not exactly what I wanted (interior and exterior colors are different, has 20" wheels instead of 18", and no HUD), but those are minor issues. I had planned to wait for the exact car I wanted, but between my current '04 RX rolling over 200K miles last week and the ongoing supply chain and inflation problems, I figured it was time to buy now. I'm paying for a paint protection package that I otherwise wouldn't buy, but aside from that there's no dealer markup.
So if anyone at the Cambridge plant is reading this...if you see 2T2GGCEZ8NC16A160 coming down the line on May 5, feel free to give it a little extra TLC.

Placed my order last month and haven’t heard anything from the dealer yet.

I'm told the car will be built on May 5, and it may take a couple of weeks to get from Ontario to Atlanta. So by the end of May I expect to be rolling in style.
