I just ordered my IS350 today!!!
SGM, black interior luxury package, adaptive lighting, preferred accessory, spoiler, 18" wheels, park assist!
traded in my 2001 maxima with 95,000 miles.
walked out paying $599 a month with $6,000 down. MSRP was $44,500
i coudlnt walk away!!
so i should be taking delivery in 3-5 weeks as soon as they can find the color combination i want!
this is going to be the longest 3-5 weeks of my life!

you'll be lucky if you get it within 7-8 weeks. when i was at the dealer the fleet manager showed me a car some other customer was waiting for. they placed their order around end of oct last year and its due to arrive at the dealership near end of feb this year.
Will it really take that long?
do they just lie to you?
its not a special order or anything, they just have to track down my interior and exterior color. I bought it with the options it had, nothing extra.
oh well...at least i'm getting it. the longer i wait, the more i can save to put down.
or i can get my exhaust, intake, and calliper paint while i wait

just got off the phone with my dealer to tell him to take LoJack off my order. After thinking about it, i realized i dont want it. I live in the middle of nowhere, and park next to Mazerattis. I think with an electronic key, and a security system, its a waste of my money. And the fact that if someone steals it, i dont want it back.
He still thinks it is going to take a month or under to find the car. i hope he's right...waiting sucks!

If they order it from the factory, it'll be four months. I ordered mine at the end of October and it will be here around the 20th. But if they can find it in allocation (theirs or another dealer's), then it won't be so long.

I got it from Lexus of Norwood, in MA.
My salesman was Spero Coston. Excellent man to do business with. No BS, he's been selling cars for almost 40 years. Highly recommended.
To me, waiting for weeks or months is worth getting the EXACT car i want. They had one on the lot with the light interior i could have driven home, but i said no. I know i would have regretted not getting black.
i guess it woudlnt bother some people, but if i spend almost 40K on a car, i want it 100% the way i want it...what's a month or 2 out of my life, when i'll have the car for 4-6 years?

I would suggest you go ahead and actually order one, as your backup - the money is fully refundable (check with your dealer though - mine has a refundable deposit)...that doesn't mean I'm still not looking around through regular allocation and calling dealerships on my own - but if one never shows up - I know there's one specifically coming for me in a couple of months.
I'd hate for you to wait about a month or two then finally realize your not going to find one through regular allocation...then you finally order one and it takes another two months...I agree with everyone here - the wait is excruciating

No way!!! just got the call!!
my dealer was able to find one in NH that they are shipping down for tomorrow (tuesday)
they just have to install the rear lip spoiler because its the only option it didnt have!
that was fast!!!!
