Default Two iPhones, one NX

I just got my 350h for the wife and have a question about adding her car to my Lexus app where I currently have my 2018 GS. We setup the car for her with a unique login for the Lexus app and the NX is on her phone. I would like to add it to my phone so I have both my GS and NX, but it appears the only way to add an NX is with the QR Code which we used when configuring the application for her. Adding my GS to her is easy as you only need to enter a VIN, but for the NX and LX you can only add a car using the QR code.

Is there a way to have the NX on two iPhone's with 2 unique logins? I know I could have shared my login with her, but since this is her car I wanted all things to be properly under her name, e-mail, etc.

Otherwise we have 2 profiles working with each tied to one of the keys.

Thanks,
Ron

I have the same issue with the wife's NX and my IS.

I want to have both cars in my app, which is only possible if I have both cars registered to the same email address.

Additionally, since I've created a remote driver profile for her, so she can use her own email in the app on her phone, I lose all remote control functionality in my app. So only a single driver can fully utilize the app at a time.. disappointing.

Thanks for confirming you have the same issue and I can now stop poking around the menus looking for a solution.

Maybe a future update will allow this but for now, her car, her control, so I will not the GS to her remote app

My hope is they will correct this eventually too. I was reading through some of the release notes for the IOS app update, and it gives me hope that they are working on this exact issue. I kind of hope they already have, and are just waiting to roll out the Android update before they can flip the switch.

According to the technology specialist who set up my phone when I picked up my 350h, I can only have one Iphone links to the NX and I don't think I could shared my login with my wife on her phone. I hope I am wrong on this as I really like both our phones to have all the same function using the remote connect features.

They might be referring to apple car play. My wife and I can use my account on both phones, and we can have th NX on both our phones if on individual accounts, but only one will have the remote connect functionality. Switching back and forth is possible, but I have to revoke her from the car first, and I can't do that without being in the car, and adding her back requires both access to the car and her phone needs to be paired, again inside the car.

Make sure you tell your dealer how you feel about it, Lexus will absolutely fix this if enough owners share their... opinions..

I did tell her exactly how I felt after she told me only one iPhone can have the remote connect feature at a time. I also mentioned to her that my Tesla model 3 that I traded it in has the same features back in 2019, so it is really not a ground breaking new technology that Lexus invented.

Has anyone tried this? https://lexus2.custhelp.com/app/answ...0452/related/1

I'm wondering if it's possible for customer service to do it on the back end? If anybody is able to try - do report back!

I presume this isn't quite the correct use case but still curious...
