Default Cloudburst grey or caviar?

I ordered a caviar 350h with rioja red interior. I lovedddd the metallic flakes on the caviar but after reading about how dirty caviar gets after 5 minutes (lol) and how scratches show up, I’m having second thoughts.

The dealer didn’t have a cloudburst grey in the showroom so I didn’t get to compare. I saw some videos on YouTube and it looks stunning though.

My concern is: will cloudburst grey look good with rioja red? There’s something about the black/red aesthetic that I’m loving and I’m not sure if CBG matches that aesthetic

Also, I’m ceramic coating the car anyway so if I get the caviar, will it reduce the number of scratches?

I just want to state that I’m not superrrr into detailing my car. Like if my black car gets dirty (and I live in Canada so lots of snow), my mentality is more like oh well it is what it is and I’ll get it washed next week lol. I don’t feel the need to always have a super shiny clean car.

I guess what I’m trying to say is do the colours cloudburst grey & rioja red pair really well together or is caviar much better when pairing with red?

Thanks in advance!

Ohio is not selling the 450h+, so one of the dealers here pointed me over to West Virginia which had a 450h+ Cloudburst & Red interior. I was not sure I would like the red interior, but it is really sharp IMO.

CBG looks awesome imo, caviar isn't bad, but it does show everything. You almost don't even notice the flake/sparkle unless you are really close to it.

I think CBG and red would look pretty nice together. I have red in mine, you can barely see in the windows. Can't hardly even see the red from outside the car.

You sound like you'd be much happier with a Silver or Gray than the Black or Caviar, especially if your not into washing the car "until next week".

If you've never owned a black car, your in for a shock. 10 minutes after a wash it will look dusty and dirty.

The red will look great with the Cloudburst Gray, IMO!

Cloudburst and red go extremely well together. I may be a little biased since I have ordered this combo for myself.

I always found black to be the most elegant and classiest colour when clean and shiny. But also to be the worst looking when dirty. It is a personal preference but I still prefer black and don't really care about it not looking its best sometimes.

So, I originally wanted caviar. However, the allocation was cloudburst grey and I think it looks pretty mean and is more on the darker side of grey which makes it look sick. Its more darker than the previous greys. Someone in my complex has the caviar, and I must say that my wife and I like the grey more, because the black doesn't look too deep of a black.

Black cars are my absolute favorite, but they are too hard to keep as clean-looking as I'd like. So for that reason I went with Cloudburst. I did the Palomino interior and it looks so amazing. I put a ceramic coating on it and keeping it clean is so much easier.

their products are very user friendly and helps keep cars looking shiny even caviar. I have a black Honda crv and my lexus salesman can't believe it's a 2016.

We ended up with a Cavier / Rioja Red 350h and love it. I also have a black BMW so we know what it takes to keep a black car clean but the looks were worth it. 2 months later, no regrets. We were actually more concerned with having a red interior but were not at all disappointed. The red is darker than the photos make it appear.

We had a 2020 GX460 in Nebula Gray Pearl with Rojia Red interior and it was a classic color combo. We loved it.

Traded the GX for a 2022 RXL in Cloudburst Gray with Parchment interior … and we love this one too.

Thw Nebula Gray has more of a “black undertone” and we think the Cloudburst Gray has more of a blue undertone. But in either cases,

the red interior would compliment it really well.

I was on the same boat when I pre-ordered back in 2021. I ordered caviar and when I saw Cloudburst grey as demo on a hybrid, I switch my order to Cloudburst grey.

I love it even more when I pickup my car last week on F-sport trim, it looks much darker in reality compare to video I saw on youtube.
One thing though, I live in raincouver; the only thing bug me is water marks show much easier on the grey compare to my last white SUV.

I recently picked up a 350h in Caviar with rioja red interior. Black is certainly difficult to keep clean but the colour combination looks incredible and I would highly recommend a ceramic coating to help maintain the paint.
