I just put a deposit on a Luxury NX 350H 2022 and it has HUD and this Advanced Park, and I want to know in advance how to operate both.

I guess I could download an owners manual for this model.

Anyone have experience with these features?

 

I ordered it but was told the SW update would not be available available until later, but if could not be add post sale. It does require you get 360 camera/front cross traffic package, so I think it could just be SW. So other thane a pre-production car demo, I have not seen anymore nor was I expecting it. It could be a nice options or at least a party trick or two. Sad, but now days a package for $480 is a bargain, I guess.

 

I own a 2022 NX 450h Luxury. First, the HUD is excellent. While it can be customized to a degree, I find the default settings to be just fine. It displays your current speed and the speed limit, traffic signs, navigation, cross traffic indications and more. I really like this feature. There is advanced parking now. I’ve played with it and while it works, it’s slow. In a busy parking lot, you will trying other’s patience. The software update later this spring is supposed to introduce remote parking and hailing.

 

To initiate HUD or advanced park is it on the steering wheel or do you go onto the big screen somewhere? Thanks.

PS, we do not have that thing where when you walk away from the car the doors automatically lock?

 

Advanced park is initiated by pressing a button below the screen. The default setting for the HUD is on. It can be turned off and/or modified in the vehicle settings.
