Hi there - I'm a new Lexus owner (2022 NX 350 purchased last month) and went through a car wash today. Immediately afterwards the key fob & touch lock have stopped working. I am only able to lock the car via the app. The key fob starts the car fine and there shouldn't be a battery problem there. I am hoping there is a perfectly logical explanation so I thought I would ask the experts here! Thank you.

 

Mystery solved in case anyone needs it for future reference…the auto fold mirror button (inside the door) was switched off so it seemed like the touch lock wasn’t working!

 

The problem with no real lock indicator.

 

Also there is absolutely no noise when the doors lock/unlock. The green lights on the door lock switches will be on when locked.

The red security light on top of the dash will blink when the car is not locked and is solid red when the car is off and locked.

My wife said that she uses the mirrors to tell if it’s locked. 😁

 

I do the same for my 2018 NX... if the mirrors fold it's locked.
