Bro just tell us what you mean. I'm asking respectfully. You took your first trip? So does that mean you are on the highway 95% of the time? Is this only point A to point b? Was there a lot of downhill? How many miles?
You're so cute with the wink. I wish I could pinch your cheek.

Okm I've heard others talk about that too.
That's rediculous but it seems like it's real.
I'll stop using it too.i
By any chance do you just put it on normal mode, f sport fsport plus? Any other recommendations?
Lastly how many miles do you have approximately on the vehicle ??

My 2019 RCF does 20mpg and my 2015 NX 2.0 turbo does 22mpg.
I agree Japanese turbos are not fuel efficient like the euro turbos.
These figures would suggest Lexus would be better off using the old V8 for a naturally aspirated NX 500 rather than waste time with the turbo NX 350.
Something seriously wrong with these figures.

Let's get some more replies.
@MadCow18 is it possible to do an OTA update that would address the mileage? Do you think they could change anything there to change the tuning for gas consumption considering the advancements in tech?
I just spoke and called to other dealerships and gathered information from other owners. It looks like 17 or 18 MPGs is what is normal for this car. Which is pretty horrible for a compact SUV in 2022.
Additionally, please let me know the percentage of highway you are d@miggyt1 you are reaching 23 mpg on normal, but is it like 90% on the highway? I'm assuming that you are doing an extraordinary amount of highway driving. Please advise.

I have a NX350t on order and just got a 3/10/22 build date. These MPG reports I'm seeing are scaring me.
The NX is for the wife who's trading in her 2017 Toyota Highlander that currently gets around 22mpg overall. She drives mainly highway miles and when I researched the NX, I liked the 22/29/25 mileage that Lexus advertises on the NX page. I considered the NX250, but figured for the extra performance it was worth a 3mpg hit; now I'm starting to question if we should reconsider the NX250. Does anyone on the forum have a 250 that can share that mileage?

You should also provide where you are and the weather. Even first gen NX needs to totally warm up to get good fuel economy. It's winter and it takes a lot more time to warm up the car.
Also a new car does take time to run at its best. You should see improvements as it goes.... And as weather gets warmer.
