Hey Lexus
It may have said that initially so that you became familiar with the system. There may be a way to bring it back if you like being greeted, but I'm not sure how that is controlled.
Some of the media event videos on YouTube suggest that if you say "Hey Lexus" and wait, it will then ask how to help. However, they point out that you don't need to wait for its response and can just roll right into your request, which sounds like how you've been using it. This should be more efficient, but of course, if you like to wait for it to respond first, that's up to you.
[QUOTE=Longtee81;11230625]I'm just speculating here, but it's probably an improvement to not have it say "how can I help". You should be able to say "hey lexus" and immediately speak your command without pausing or waiting for a prompt. This is how Hey Siri and Hey Google work as well and it makes the process a bit faster and more fluid.

Good,
In all Oct UT reviews, I thoughts, yes, you can stop asking the same question every time. Just assume, I need help, if I call you. OK? LOL

The Lexus site also has owners manuals by model and a quick start. No logon required to download. Nice!
It is probably just my jaded experience, as an IT Architect, but I am not expecting much from the new Lexus interface (or even good documentation) for 6 Mo to even a year. Hopefully, they will with the OTA updates not play the "fix" in next model year game as with my Honda 2017 CRV. I got one update from Honda in 2018 only. It kinda works with CarPlay. I will be happy for awhile if it just controls the HVAC, does remote start (either fob and/or app) and does wireless CarPlay without too many hangup or reboots needed.
On the other hand with OTA updates, they will eventually (probably) get this reasonable functional. I know expectations are pretty low. Lexus- prove me wrong. LOL

It is in Settings (the cogwheel) > Voice and Search> Prompt.
Also note that those settings are different for the different profiles.
When I say hey lexus play a band it switches to Amazon music but doesn't play anymore when it used to play whatever band I said. Any ideas how to fix this? Also I have always been connected with android auto. It does seem to work if i turn AA off.
