Can you to connect an Android phone wirelessly? Is Android Auto not wireless? Seems like Apple CarPlay is wireless, but not sure about Android Auto.

 

Android Auto is also wireless. I have an Android phone and it's get connected without any problems. Wireless CarPlay connection is also great so far.

 

I have a 2022 Lexus NX and a Motorola g 5G - 2024 phone. I've been able to connect to Android Auto wireless, but every few days, it won't connect. I have to forget the Lexus on the phone and forget the phone on the Lexus and reconnect. Anyone else had this issue?

Been a long wait for something like this for AA, finally. Thanks for the heads up, updated my phone and the new feature worked great. I also noticed recently that the messaging notifications can be managed more easily

 

Trouble Connecting Google Pixel 4 XL to 2022 Lexus RX 350 Android Auto

Issue: I recently connected my Samsung Galaxy S8 to the Android Auto system in my 2022 Lexus RX 350 without any issues. However, when I try to connect my Google Pixel 4 XL, it doesn't work. The process was straightforward with the S8, but I'm having trouble with the Pixel 4 XL.

Question: What could be causing this problem? Are there any specific settings or updates I should check on the Pixel 4 XL to resolve this issue?

 

I'm surprised that you are still using Pixel 4 XL. The Pixel 4XL stopped support October 2022 and does not support wireless Android Auto.

 

22 NX and Galaxy S24+. Occasional issues connecting wirelessly, but rare. Holding the NX radio power button down and rebooting always corrects the connection.

 

Yeah, I’m actually using the Pixel 4 XL with a wired connection for Android Auto.
