If everyone buys everything but at least for me, none of that is worth buying.

AA/CarPlay do the navigation better than Lexus ever will, and it's free.
Service Connect, wait, you want to sell me notifications that my car needs service, because, by definition, shouldn't the car already be telling me that? Or, is this just a way to get us to pay for you to market maintenance at the dealer?
Safety Connect is possibly useful but we've all survived for years without instant crash notifications.
A hotspot can be managed from your cell phone with the right plan.
XM is just a thing. I had it for 90 days free, it was nice, but they called me every single day for weeks after expiration trying to get me to sign up. Not ever after that.

Repeating monthly fees are the "next thing" these days. It'll fizzle out in a few years or at least I hope it does.

I think run flat tires are another way the dealers are using to make more money. It is known run flats don’t last as long and less instances where a nail puncture cannot be repaired. Then there are the large and larger rims with less rubber to absorb road hazards. To me this results in having to replace rims more often. I do wish Lexus will consider these issues

That said I still like the 350H and the benefits I like far outweigh the issues. Will look to get one at some point.

Re Wi-Fi services, ATT is charging $20 monthly if you're an ATT customer, $25 if you're not.

I think that's only needed for the hotspot feature and I'm not sure why anyone would get that since most everyone has a phone with hotspot capability that is provided as part of their cell phone service. Having the car itself be a hotspot seems a bit redundant.

Agreed! I always use the hotspot feature on my cell phone. It has an unlimited plan and provides speedy WiFi to all my computer devices. Don't need to spend extra for the car to provide that.

I suspect some owners will find that two different cell companies will offer different coverage areas, which could guarantee your (almost) never in an area without service.

I have a 4Runner and have the hotspot activated with AT&T and the monthly fee is $15 for unlimited. My cell service is T-Mobile and when I made a road trip to the mountains of Colorado there was absolutely no T-Mobile service and I was lucky to have the hotspot in the truck to make wi-Fi phone calls and get any kind of email and other Internet service. It was a lifesaver for that couple of weeks.

My point exactly, I have T-Mobile for cell service and the Verizon Hotspot in the 2019 car. Between the two, never have an issue communicating with the outside world. Total cost for both services, all inclusive is $50 a month. I wish one service would do it for less, but not in my travel area(s).

I am finding Remote Connect will be the only app I really use. The others are gimmicks and the Drive Connect is on par with what is included in an iPhone / Android. Remote Connect is worthwhile.

Post Does Navigation require subscription services ?

Does navigation require subscriptions services or is there a version of navigation that continues to work without relying on a subscription service?

YMMV.,

I'm not sure about the 2nd generation NX navigation system, but, for the last couple of years, Lexus and Toyota have used a navigation system in their other vehicles in which the map information is constantly updated over the air. There is a 3 year (I believe) free trial. After that, a subscription is required to maintain the "live map" information. Without a subscription, the navigation system will continue to work, but the map data will revert to the version that was installed when the car was built. As an alternative to having a subscription, there is also the option to buy a new version of the maps, which has always been the case with earlier navigation systems.

I just got the 2022 NX and none of that stuff is working and Lexus says they don't know how long it will take to be fixed. Not okay for the money spent on this car

That's terrible. I would just download the Lexus App and go from there - the main app contains the links for the other items.

I have NOT enabled the car AT&T mobile connection. I have connected my phone and using CarPlay my Lexus CAN use piggy back on the wifi connection. For me everything works. At this point I do not see the point for me to enable it. I read here that others use the car hotspot as a backup connection, good idea if that is an issue, but for me my phone is more then enough.
