First look at the 2022 NX
Cars with black, white, silver, and gray were popular 20 years ago. They were popular 10 years ago. They are popular now, and they will be popular 10 years from now. On the other hand, more exotic vehicle colors tend to be popular for a few years. Then, that popularity fades. So does the re-sale value of those cars. And all of that is especially true with luxury brand cars.
I do not know about silver lining metallic or nebula gray, but I have seen quite a few pictures and videos of the 2022 NX in atomic silver...

I'm happy that the 450H is almost 300hp from what the one video I watched. I showed my wife and she did like the newer NX. She said if she were to do it again she'd get a hybrid. Which would make sense and actually be pretty decent to get around 36mpg. What she gets now is about 24mpg on a good day which is just awful to me.
I wasn't a fan of the light bar but it's now growing on me the more videos I watch of the NX. Seems like a nice refresh. The front end is definitely much nicer now as well! I loved the triple beams before and the headlights now look even nicer along with the front grill. That overbite look was/is just awful looking if you didn't get the F sport of prior years.. The interior I am still very much on the fence with. It seems like the passenger side dash is just so empty/lacking. I'm really quite surprised they didn't add some type of trim or something along those lines. Some parts of the dash look nice but when looking at it from a whole it seems much cheaper looking to me. Either the lack of materials or just lack of stuff... Seems very empty/plasticly in a way.
Even just the base version gets a bump is power to what 275hp, compared to 235hp. That's nice! That's what I've been saying for a while now. It'll be nice to maybe test drive later on and see how much more peppy it is. I'm not one for trading cars back and forth. I tend to keep them for YEARS. Normally 10 or so. But this might be a nice upgrade.

I have not seen that from Lexus. What is your source? Please post.
The 2021 NX has a ground clearance of 6.9 inches.
Would it be safe to say that the 2022 will have the exact ground clearance or would it be more or less?
Will NX450h+ have a lower ground clearance due to hybrid battery under cabin?

Any news on when the new NX will hit the dealerships? We looked at the new Venza a few weeks back and if the new NX's interior is an upgrade version of the Venza, it will be a very nice place to be.
I watched a YouTube video of a rep talking at the Chicago Auto Show in front of the orange F-Sport and he said the NX should start hitting showrooms in October. The sound quality of the video was bad, so I don't know if he mentioned ability to purchase date. Maybe showroom and sale date is one and the same.
Got this today in an email from Lexus

I would assume the release date is not that far away.

The Pre-Order Guide shows the available colors for the US. No silver lining metallic or nebula gray.

Thanks for sharing that. Apparently Lexus has lost my email address...
It's nice to see a breakdown of options and packages. Looks like what I need is an NX350 with the Luxury Package to get just about everything I really want. Although if I read the brochure correctly the wireless phone charger is a separate option? Seems weird, but whatever...I expect just about every vehicle on the dealer lot will have it anyway.
I was thinking about maybe going for the F Sport trim, but only black or red for interior colors? Ugh. At least that will save me a few bucks.
