450h+ - Charging from app
Further details: I have the NX450h+. Love it, it's perfect for me. At home, I charge in my garage from a household outlet. So it takes a while, but that's ordinarily fine, and I charge overnight with the schedule in the car set to start charging at 9pm when my rates drop. But sometimes my schedule changes of course, and I want to get in a bit of charging during the day. Except that I don't want to charge between 4pm and 9pm, because of the electric rates in those hours. I could never figure out how to get this automated with the schedule (leave-by-4pm setting messed up my start-at-9pm settings), so, fine, if my situation is unique, I'll just manually start it for that occasional daytime charging, and set an alarm to manually stop charging at 4pm on the Lexus app. But I can't do this any more because the "start charging" and "stop charging" functions are no longer on the app. So strange to me that there's this long list of things I can do remotely, including starting the car, but I can't start or stop charging?
I'd love to be able to say what version of the app I'm using, but I don't see that info. For reference, this is a screenshot of what I see on the charging page:
Thanks for any help (first post!)
- Active 7 day schedule created in the vehicle. Its set to start charge at 9pm
- The vehicle is plugged in (say prior to 9pm).
BUT, if it’s plugged in and charging, there’s no way to stop charging that I see. If I tap the lightning bolt, I go to the charging subpage, the one in my first post, and there’s no “stop charging” option. There definitely used to be, so I’ve been hoping it’s just buried somewhere, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Disappointing!
