Lexus SUV Size
UX would be the next size down, but its a stretch to call it an SUV, its more of a hatchback, sorry, crossover is the today term. On the plus side, I think they look great, I actually like its looks better than the NX, but its just too small for me.

To me this little 'ute' is a great grocery getter, city car. Lots of Lexus features and comfort but easy to get around in and park in those forever shrinking parking spots!

Not sure I’ve ever heard the NX considered as too large but yes the UX would be the choice. I agree they look good for what they are. My issue with UX is no surround view cameras available any more.
I looked at the UX, and considered it strongly before purchasing the NXh. I liked the more compact size and all the benefits that go along with it, but what ended up being the dealbreaker for me was the ground clearance. I would love something like the original Rav4 or other small SUV like they used to be! Unfortunately as another member said, its more of a hatchback than small SUV.
I do think the NX would benefit from being slightly more efficient or compact with its size. Unfortunately vehicles tend to inflate and grow over time. Every redesign it grows a few more inches and creeps larger and larger. It adds up to significant differences and growth over time sadly.
a UX that has better ground clearance, and slightly more cargo without the exterior length extending would be my ideal vehicle. Small enough for city, but with enough clearance for snow banks, and Lexus luxury, dependability, and reliability. One can dream.

I have had both but I had to change from the UX to NX when my Grandson was born as we could not even fit the pushchair chassis and carry cot in the boot of the UX. Expensive to change but well worth it! 🤗
Hopefully, the trend of cars getting larger reverses. My NX450h+ is similar in size to my second generation RX which my NX replaced. It is ironic that the NX holds more in the rear cargo space with the seats up than the 5th gen RX. The UX is similar to the CTh

I've had mu UX for 7 months and I love it. My wife has a 2024 NX350h which I also love. For me going to work everyday, the UX is fun to drive with the shorter wheelbase and lower center of gravity. And its get 45 MPG! For hauling the grandkids, we take the NX.
