Android Auto -- "Device Battery is Low"
2025 NX 350h -- I just upgraded to Android 16, One UI 8. Android Auto 15.3. Noe, every time I start the car I get an on-car pop-up warning that my 'Device Battery is Low'... which it isn't.
Any thoughts on an update from Lexus?
TIA

I've not had this problem myself (I only see the message when my phone is indeed very low on battery) but I've heard from some other car forums on other cars where this issue has popped up, that sometimes what fixes the issue is to make sure the battery saver function on the phone is turned off. I had previously had battery saver turned on and it did cause some weird issues with other apps that now I don't use it at all. I think Android encourages people to turn this feature on (perhaps in response to a low battery condition, but then it remains on afterward or perhaps as a separate permanent setting that perhaps sounds like it makes sense but doesn't, that I'm not sure of). But in summary, I'd simply recommend making sure any power saving feature is turned off and see if that helps, because I know it did cause me issues even when my phone did have a decent charge.
I just did the update, got into the car and turned it on. All is well! No error message, battery indicator on the car display shows about right (51% according to the phone). So apparently mixed results.
