The rooftop sunglass holder is a hilarious joke, it's too small to fit anything, I can't believe they even bothered. Not a fan of the 'touch' dome lights either, give me something physical in some way so you can actually find it in the dark! A nice green light like that used on doors for switches would be nice, instead you have to slide your finger all over to get it to light up, even then it's pretty dim.
And for gods sake fix the terribly designed lack of charging the 12 volt battery!!
Don't lose sight of the fact that other than the basic necessity of a vehicle, all the other stuff is a want and not a need. You throw a lot of money out the window for 500hp to be used for a precious few minutes probably every month. The rest of the time you're trying to not get a speeding ticket. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I use the sunglass holder all the time. My new Ray Bans fit OK, a little tight especially when getting them out. My regular glasses fit as well.

As an old fart, I appreciate the sunglass holder for a pair of reading glasses. Works beautifully for that, and I use it all the time.

Lightbulb Sunglass holder is fine - hold parallel and rotate.

The sunglass holder works fine. open the sunglass slot. Hold your sunglasses parallel to the slot and rotate your sunglasses in. Try it. The first time it seems a little awkward. But once you you rotate . turn forward it goes in fine. Just a little practice and you will be amazed.

YMMV,

Get cataract surgery with multi-focus lens and you will have 20/20 again and can throw all you reading glasses away. If you are not a candidate for cataract surgery , when you are get the multi-focus lens. "Old Fart" is a nebulous term and some people are actually older than "Old Farts"

YMMV,

Would like to see
:] painted lower door moldings and fender arch moldings(see new Chr available in EU)
] two tone body paint like Bz4x and C-hr
] new headlight surely will be arrow like design(new camry, c-hr)
] updated steering wheel design
] updated clunky turn signal lever
] updated front grill and rear bumper diffuser
] updated interior light control switch
] instrument cluster might be bigger
for me it's too much body roll when driving high speed,so better to do some suspension upgrade.

Had cataract surgery long ago. Perfect distance but need the readers for up close.

And I suspect I'm one of the oldest farts around here.

The NX plugin is $14,000 than the NX350h $14,000 more for 60 more horsepower Yes that makes absolute perfect financial sense. I guarantee you he has a car loan on it.
I would not roll my window down of my RX and throw $10 out the window once a year and certainly wouldn't roll my window and throw $1,800 a year out my window would you. Again everyone has different priorities.
Reread your post your priority was mpg quoting you "See one of my priorities is getting 38 mpg versus 27 in my 2017. " Mpg translates to gas cost correct ? And frugal of not gas cost is not an insignificant part of a person's budget. Who really cares when you retired, irrelevant,

YMMV,

P.S. - No car loans or leases here
P.S.S. - There is a whole lot more for $14,000 going from 350h to 450h+ besides 64 more horsepower but I think you know that
