Default Hazard Lights Flashing

My Nexus NX350h has been going off (alarm and hazard lights) randomly. I was told this was the result of a failing battery. Well, battery was replaced by Lexus and this is still happening. After 2 trips back to dealer I keep being told that there is nothing wrong with my car. I went out of town just to come back to another dead batter. So back at the dealer we are(different dealer this time), to see if they can figure it out. Well, still NOTHING. I was told that there is nothing wrong with my car. To say I am frustrated it’s an understatement. I work 80hrs a week and I don’t have time for this. What else can I do or say to be helped. I need a reliable car and this car has become the opposite of that. I don’t want to figure this out myself, I want them to fix it!!

First confirm with your latest dealer visit that they confirmed the 12 volt battery was fully charged up. It's possible that the new battery went in and dealer never fully charged it. Batteries sit on a shelf in a partial state of charge usually, and may need to be put on a charger to get them to full charge. I would also ask if the dealer can confirm it is getting charged properly while in the car and to check for parasitic losses when it's turned off. Unfortunately the NX has issues with parasitic drain on the 12 volt battery when not being used and shut off. Close all windows and lock your car when you leave it. Keep your key fobs well away from the car at all times or better yet drop them into a faraday bag that will block the key fob signal and not keep your car 'awake' expecting you to step into it at any moment. There is an ongoing communication with your key fob, the Lexus app and internet connection that will slowly drain your 12 volt battery.

Here are a few of the links related to your and just about every other NX owners concerns with 12 volt battery issues. It is quite a problem.

Is the car sits inside or outside? Maybe put a camera in a garage on outside the house to see what is happening, maybe somebody doing something on purpose
