Nothing shows anything. Only oil change, tire rotations, 5000 miles service. 10k miles, etcs.

Sorry for your situation. For what it costs, I would put a new 12v battery in the car at my own cost to see if that resolves your issue. This is what I did after 2 instances of a flat battery 18 months apart because Lexus tested the battery and said it was fine - so wouldn’t replace it under warranty. I don’t trust their battery testing. I kept the old one and am using it to boost my CTEK CS Free battery maintainer as I don't park near mains electricity.

As of now they still have my vehicle and i cant do nothing about it.

Edit: I remembered they told me that they fully charged my battery and it went away, I asked them could the battery be starting to wear out. They said it could be. But on the 24th of June and couple days before, I did has problem starting the car. The dash would light up(animate) like 10 second after the engine started. But they did state that changing out the battery wouldn't help. I do have a portable jumper i charged the battery for 15 mins but the light remain on.

That probably means they didn't even look at the issue.

Every time, I go to dealer for a problem. I always ask for a printout.

Best to get a battery tester. It will always come in a handy for any vehicle.

I'm not familiar with your Lexus dealer.

My local Lexus dealer is transparent and put everything to be done on that date. For example, change oil, rotate tires and etc.

My vehicle has an alignment issue as a warranty item somehow but it was taken care.

Here's some snippets for example.

Here's the alignment service for example:

REPAIR NUMBER: xxxxxx
REPORTED BY: Lexus xxxxxx

SERVICE: 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT
DESCRIPTION:~|~GUEST STATES WHEN DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY THE STEERING WHEEL WHEEL IS NOT CENTER, IT IS OFF TO THE LEFT, PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE. ~|~ROAD TESTED VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT STEERING WHEEL IS SLIGHTLY OFF CENTERED TO THE LEFT. CHECKED FOR DAMAGE TO WHEELS/TIRES BUT NONE WAS FOUND. NEXT, PLACED VEHICLE IN ALIGNMENT RACK AND NOTICED THAT FRONT AND REAR TOE ARE SLIGHTLY OFF. ~|~ADJUSTED FRONT AND REAR TOE AND SET STEERING WHEEL STRAIGHT. AFTER, THE VEHICLE WAS ROAD TESTED AND VEHICLE DRIVES STRAIGHT AND STEERING WHEEL IS STRAIGHT. OP CODES: 043233, 043233A, 043233D TIME: 1.5H
.....

SERVICE: NO CAR WASH
DESCRIPTION: ~|~DUE TO THE DRAUGHT DO NOT WASH THIS VEHICLE THANK YOU FOR HELPING CALIFORNIA CONSERVE WATER ~|~ ~|~NO CAR WASH WAS PERFORMED

SERVICE: LOANER CAR
DESCRIPTION: ~|~PROVIDE LEXUS COURTESY VEHICLE FOR USE DURING SERVICE. - BY ACCEPTING USE OF OUR COURTESY VEHICLE, YOU AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL PARKING CITATIONS, UNCOLLECTED BRIDGE TOLLS, ANY PHYSICAL DAMAGE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CIGARETTE SMOKE AN ~|~ ~|~SUPPLIED LOANER CAR DURING SERVICE VISIT

SERVICE: TIRE PRESS INSPECT
DESCRIPTION:~|~CHECK/ADJUST TIRE PRESSURES AND REPORT FINDINGS DEALERSHIP USES IT'S OWN MASTER WHEEL LOCK KEY TO REMOVE WHEELS IF NEEDED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE, NOT CUSTOMERS. ~|~REQUEST TIRE PRESSURES ~|~TIRE PRESSURE SET AT 35 PSI ALL 4.
....

Always ask for a paper on the service also. The service (writer) person may not have written down the issue in details or check or work to be done maybe.

Hold them accountable for the service and you have records with paperwork.

Im in Canada and I don't think we have access to our service records like you do in the USA using their Appointments History website. Our app will only ask if you want to contact your dealer for an appointment. The dealerships I've been to will happily print out service records and mail them out to you for free. They will also email them out to you too as attachments. You could also visit dealership and ask for them to print all of them out. Just thinking about plausible issues that might arise, all your service records are going to be your evidence if needed to contest what exactly was done, why and when. If you can download those online records somehow so they're within your devices and not only on their system, that would be great. Who's to say those online records don't disappear or the dealer chooses not to upload them or is able to remove them.

Concerning the 12 volt battery, you can have it tested at another shop, even a Toyota dealership close by could do it. I know I've had my battery replaced under warranty, and the test procedure is quite sophisticated, the machine places loads on the battery, charges battery, loads battery again etc. It's mimicking what the battery will see while in service in your vehicle and determine it's true state of health. The cost around here is about $90 to do and it takes about an hour. Or as others have said, simply have a new battery installed at your expense, keep the old battery as evidence, and if your problems go away ask Lexus to repay you the cost of the new replacement battery. It was their negligence or lack of competence that they didn't diagnose it correctly and left you with a defective battery even though they should have the equipment to test it in their own shop.

Any decent shop will also be able to determine if there is a parasitic draw on the 12 volt battery. That means that using a meter they can see if something in the car is drawing power when the car is completely off. There will be certain amount of draw for little things, but nothing significant. I would also think that their on board diagnostic software will show what's going on once they plug in a computer to your car. Techstream I believe is the name of Toyota's software for this.

I totally understand what your saying. Oly my dash cam is HW to the fuse box. But its been HW since day 1. When I had 10 miles on the vehicle. I dont think it would be my dash cam. My radar detector is powered by 12V cigarettes plugs.

Do you have your dashcam auto record when there's motion around even when the vehicle is off?

I'm no suspecting the 12V battery is drained.

I would check the 12V battery, it's probably drained. Probably want to get that replaced. NX is probably fine.

The draw of the dashcam drained the battery. The dashcam is probably fine but just use too much power. The NX 12V battery (at least on mines) isn't that strong compared to other 12V ones I've seem in the past.

I'm familiar with fuse tapping (setup that on the RAV4). I have installed fuse tapping and tapping wiper sensor for power.

I didn't setup to motion wake to record when the vehicle is off given that reason.

For the dealer to troubleshoot, they will probably come with the same conclusion.

They insist that that they checked the 12v battery and it might start going bad. Because when it happens my DRL light couldnt be turned off even with the engine off. So its completely drained, they boost it back up the following day and said the light on my dash all went away but 5 mins later it all came back. Because as I known of now, a 3 year battery is about time. Thats why I wanted to change it to a 830cca.
