Question climate auto control

I've owned my NX 350h for a month now, and I'm really enjoying driving it while exploring all the new features. I'm very satisfied with the climate control set to Auto, which adjusts everything based on the preferred interior temperature.

Today, the outdoor temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit. When I started the engine, all the climate-related icons on the screen were lit up — including the seat ventilation, steering wheel heater, and seat heater. I checked to see if all the features were actually activated. As expected in such hot weather, the seat ventilation appeared to be working. However, although the icons for the seat heater and steering wheel heater were also lit, they didn’t seem to be functioning.

I understand that seat ventilation would be active on a hot day like today, but it was a bit confusing to see the seat heater and steering wheel heater icons illuminated when they weren't operating. I'm curious to know if this is the intended behavior of the Auto function.

Have you set the temperature, seat ventilation, etc. on the Climate page of the Lexus App?

“ When [Climate concierge] is on, if the [AUTO] switch is turned on, the seat

heaters and seat ventilators of the front seats, and the heated steering wheel will

be operated automatically according to the temperature setting.*“ (manual p294)

From my experience the auto settings simply lights up everything it will 'possibly' be controlling. Meaning steering wheel and seats will be activated accordingly as the "Big Giant Head' computer figures out what is needed. You can push the button repeatedly to manually select what you want or push until it's at the auto position. From manual for Climate Concierge:

"Comfortable condition to be maintained without adjusting each system (Lexus Climate Concierge) Operation of the seat heaters and seat ventilators of the front seats and the heated steering wheel is performed automatically according to the temperature setting of the air conditioning system, outside temperature, temperature inside the vehicle, etc.*"
from my '22 NX350h manual pg 251
