I am a new Lexus owner so I beg forgiveness in advance it this is already posted somewhere, but I did try searching several variants on the question as referenced in the title above. I would like to know if there is a way to have the Lexus app stop sending me alerts when the car is at home unlocked in my garage. I do have our home address listed in the app. The car is great. We have had it for six weeks with just under 1000 miles now and only used 5/8 of a tank of gas. The ride is as smooth as silk, and the performance is quick, agile and responsive.

i'm gonna say "nope", at least on the Android version. The lexus app itself does not appear to have any settings related to that. The app does have control on if and which types of notifications will be provided, but not based on GPS or time of day that I've seen.
Within android itself, you can control whether an app will display at notification, or choose which class of notification you get (some apps have multiple classes of notifications), or you can setup dark times when app notifications are quiet (do not disturb), but I've never seen anything related to controlling notifications based on GPS location within the phone. Maybe iPhone is different, been a while since I used one but I don't recall anything there either?
Thanks for the quick response. My wife is the primary drive of this Lexus, but we both frequently drive it. I have an Android phone and she has an iPhone, but neither seems to be able to exclude the notifications based on locations. My 2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range does. It doesn't seem to be that hard, as the find my Lexus button works well.
It is recommended to lock the car, so that the car does not keep on sending messages to the app causing the 12V battery to keep on working. Even if you ignore the notifications from the Lexus App, you are still having the car actively telling the Lexus servers that your car is not locked.
I keep a faraday pouch in the car. So I grab my keyfob, head to car in garage, open it up drive it out, turn it off, lock it up, drop fob in pouch and leave it in garage.
If I need to clean out interior or mats I do that first, then lock up and store in pouch.
Yes I get a few app messages, but once it's locked up and fob in pouch they stop. No other way to prevent it from messaging you.
And I pre condition the 12 volt well before the procedure by plugging in my battery tender so it's fully charged up. Nothing worse then finishing up vacuuming and now your battery has died. Hasn't happened but I never rule it out.

Sounds like you found a system that works for you. I really don’t want to deal with a trickle charger, so when I clean my NX I just turn it on “READY” mode. I might lose a mile off the traction battery after 30 minutes or so, but I know I’m charging the 12 volt while I’m washing. I did have to turn off the auto rain sensing wipers as they would turn on when I sprayed the front windows.

Open your app and in the upper right hand side click on the profile head. Then click account then notification settings. I hope this is what your talking about and that it helps.
That is good to know. I do want to know if we have left the car unlocked for the most part, just not at home in my locked garage. Most of those alerts I want turned on. We have taken to locking our car, even at home. Thanks for the advice.

Is that the Lexus app on Android? On IOS, I don't see any notification settings that I can adjust.
You have the same Settings on iOS as well, it is just a long way to get there, but they are there.
You go to your Lexus app => click on the human icon on upper right --> click Account --> there are your Notification Settings

I don’t want to have to go in the house to get a fob.

a feature that would disable the unlocked notifications would be useful.
