Car dealers and tire dealers cannot resell previously mounted tires as new, so the credit extended
will be a fraction of the new price. I would think there is a market for your lightly used tires because
run flats are trouble to repair and are generally just replaced. As with Blood Donations... your car
may save the (tire) life of up to four needy cars!

Nope. Zero.
Why would a dealer compensate you for your preference in tires when there is nothing structurally wrong with the ones installed by the OEM?

I also dislike RF's, though the current gen is not as rough riding as I remember from RFs in years past. So I bought a second set of wheels + tires to my liking and installed them on the car.
The original wheels + RFs will go back for lease return.

In my town there are tire dealers that specialized in used and discount (aka Chinese unknown brand) tires. Perhaps if you have a place like that they might accept them, probably for pennies on the dollar though. A dollar is a dollar though...

Sell them on Ebay.

Oh and by the way I had runflats in the past and hated them, but these Bridgestones are fine. Ride is excellent and I don't notice any additional noise.

Lots and Lots of discussion on RFTs versus non-RFTs.

Two major opinions have come out : (1) Non-RFTs are smoother and quieter (Pedestrian answer )
(2) supposedly yo lose 2-3 mpg with Non- RFTs, Maybe RFT users are using nitrogen and keeping more inflated , stiffer sidewalls keep more constant . . . circumference and than Non RFT underinflated tires. This is the opinion but doesn't seem to follow physical laws if all else is equal. because Non-RFT
. tires weigh less.

YMMV,

Agree. Runflats from years ago may have been subpar but I see no issues with the Bridgestones at all. That said I would probably replace them with non RF's when they need to be replaced but not before.

I’m just going to try and go in with an open mind. Unfortunately my 2018 Q50 that I bought in 2021 had brand new Bridgestone Potenza RF’s. They road rough and sounded even rougher. Hopefully they have improved. Thanks.
