Hi everyone,
Just got a quick question about the start up chimes on my NX 350, when I first got the vehicle it do have the triple chimes when starting up the vehicle, but now it's completely gone. Does anyone have any clue about how to bring them back?
Cheers

Interested in the responses yet to come. I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago to my NX 350 F Sport. When I spoke to the service dept about it, I was told there never was a chime. I got nowhere. Based in Australia.
I'm 1000% sure there were three chimes right after pressing the start button.

I personally don't recall ever hearing or seeing a setting for a startup chime in my '23. But to answer your question, it appears that post was referencing "CoPilot", which is Microsoft's AI search engine tool (within their "Bing" search engine site). However, these AI tools aren't always accurate. They do pattern matching across all the Internet stuff it has (whether accurate or garbage) and tries to squeeze the data into something that makes sense. In this case, I'm going to suggest it doesn't, because looking at the instructions, it references "touchpad" and "directional buttons". On the 2nd gen NX, there is no touchpad or directional buttons that interface with the infotainment screen. I think the AI tool is trying to incorporate instructions for a different car and making a faulty assertion it applies here. AIs are not perfect, if they were Teslas would not crash.

In this case I think, in my opinion, Co=pilot pulled out and answer that does not exactly fit the NX and you may never be able to find the "chime" option.

So I wondered about this and got confused, and then got more confused. Today I started my car in the garage and got the 3 tones. Ran an errand came back, turned off the car. Restarted and got NO tones. Turned off the car, opened the door, closed the door, restarted and got 2 tones. So there. I have no idea what causes the tones and why, and when.
