Default Nx #4

Consumer Reports announced the ten most satisfied owners by vehicle and the NX 350h was #4. Wife and friend both have 2023 NX 350h's and love them. Both zero problems are getting 40 mpg.

I find it hard to believe “Zero Problems” given the number of recalls, frozen door handles, fuel cap that wouldn’t open and had to be replaced and a 12v battery system not fit for purpose….

Yes I am very happy with my 3 year old NX 350h and will be keeping it for many years, but the issues we have had really frustrate the hell out of me!

I consider myself a "zero problem" owner as well. But for full disclosure I did have a couple of rattles, well, perhaps better described as "light buzzy noises on occasion in only certain conditions" which I was able to easily remedy myself with just a few minutes of effort. As well, there are a couple of features where I consider the current design lacks proper ease of use. One being the Lane Change Assist which is way too slow and annoying to use (I just shut it off completely and, oh the horror, change lanes myself when using adaptive cruise) and the other being the close and lock on the hatch, which whenever I use it I have to make a situational "exit plan" in my head exactly what I need to do to get it to work.

I also have had no issues with my 2024 350h. I'd buy the car again in a heartbeat. Great buggy.

I have a CR account and I sub to them. They use to send surveys to us but I haven't gotten one this year or it's sent out randomly.

Definately there are problems with the NX but they aren't getting the data. No vehicle is perfect. Mines had alignment issue which pulled to the left and the dealer fixed under warranty. There other nags which I'll discuss another day.

Never had any problems yet but worry about my 12v way too much.

Lightbulb Surveys are inaccurate

Consumer Reports is base on user surveys which are highly inaccurate same as candidate polls.

Most Consumer Reports survey respondents are happy customers. Occasionally, someone who is irate will respond. Those with minor issues typically don't respond.

YMMV,

Default So far so good

I categorize my experience with the NX350h as having zero major problems. I've owned the car for just over a year and haven’t encountered any issues that required servicing at the dealer or resulted in the hassle of a loaner car. While no vehicle is flawless—there are some minor annoyances like road noise at high speeds, occasional rattles, and glitches with CarPlay—the ride quality, fuel efficiency, and comfort make the NX350h a standout choice. In this context, I confidently recommend the NX350h for owner satisfaction, as it has presented me with no significant problems. Time will tell how it holds up, but I believe it will prove to be highly reliable.

2024 NX350H here. No issues at all. No battery problems, no low MPG, no rattles. Over all this is what I expected when I traded my Audi SQ5 for the NX350H.

I own 2024 350h for almost a year. No mechanical/driving issues at all besides being slow. I found many issues and outright bugs with the infotainment system software, primarily related to Android Auto integration. Annoying but manageable...
At this time, average mpg is 37.1, but I often see from 40 to 47 mpg for individual trips.
I am planning to keep this car for a few years, but if Genesis comes up with a hybrid, will switch in a heartbeat!

Genesis has dropped from #2 Lexus#1 in dependability in 2023 to #16 in 2024 again with Lexus #1 again. J D Power has Genesis dead last in customer service study again with Lexus #1. Pure subjective find their vehicles extremely unattractive.

Just curious as which model in genesis lineup are you referring to? Also, please elaborate why?

I was looking for GV70. My friend has one and it surpasses Lexus in terms of luxury, comfort, ride, etc. Unfortunately, they do not make hybrids, only gas and fully electric.
Besides, I used to drive Hyundai SantaFe for 6 years, my wife is now driving Kia Sportage hybrid. Exceptional comfortable cars, no issues whatsoever, beautiful infotainment system and so on and so forth.
BTW, I wonder if anyone has a local (not 800) phone number for Lexus Japan, so I could call them up and explain the issues I found...
