Has anybody installed the new iOS 18 yet? I’m wondering how the Lexus app is working or will work with it. I’m most concerned with the ability to drive the car without having a key. Thank you!

I upgraded to iOS 18 and it works perfectly!

 

I'll upgrade probably tonight. I think my car key on the phone needs to be reset since it broke after an update I think.

 

good luck. If it does not work, you might have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. That usually resolves the issue.

 

I've been on the beta for awhile. Currently on 18.1 beta. no issues.

Anyone have an issue with their Heads Up Display not showing text properly when navigating with Apple Maps in iOS 18? It shows the text but it's all cut off -- I'm thinking Apple changed something that Lexus needs to fix in their software.

 

I updated to iOS 18 yesterday, and so far, everything seems to be running smoothly. CarPlay appears to be higher definition and more responsive than before, though it might just be my perception. The Lexus app is functioning well too. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if I encounter any bugs in the future. I’ll keep you posted.

 

Yes, having the same issue as you. Looks like the street names and distance to turn is limited to just the left quarter of the HUD cutting off the text.

 

Ditto. I’ll see if there is a HUD setting tomorrow.
