I received my Modern Spare yesterday, today I mounted it on my rear wheel just to make sure it fit.
It mounted easily and it's the best looking compact spare I've ever seen. The quality is exceptional.
Later today I tried the fit of the spare in my trunk, removing the storage bins etc.
I'll do some customizing in my trunk in a while to mount it permanently and post some photos of my progress.
Thanks to "midcow3" and "tundotcom" for you help.

Reason: To make it more logical to find “spare tire” information.
Perfect! Thanks. I need this for a road trip. Will just secure it in the back. No room under since I will have a 350h.
Ecuse my ignorance. “ Breaker bar and alignment pins”?
\breaker bar is a longer extension on the socket wrench. Apparently, Lexus factory tights the wheel bolts with lot of torque and they are sometimes difficult to losen.
Now I can imagine the usefulness of the alignment pins. That example you showed me, is that the exact ones I need for my 350h? Thanks for your help.

YMMV,

I think midcow was typing too fast. You need the M14 x 1.5 (??) pins to screw into the hub before lifting the wheel onto the hub to start installing the lug studs. The bolt pattern isn't relevant for that question.
