Default Soon To Be 350h Owner

Hi there. Brand new member to the club. Hoping to be picking up my 2025 NX350h within the next 2 weeks. Anything I should be sure to check on or request before I drive away? Looking forward to learning a lot from this forum. TIA

Definately do a test drive and walk around the vehicle. On my purchase, I discovered the gas cap got scratched probably on the edge when they fill up the vehicle but I got touchup paint to fix it. Check all the light, windows, moonroof are all working. Check for fluid leaks and look in the engine compartment. I don't expect this vehicle to have lots of issue overall,

Download the Lexus app and create your account. Download and read the manual, also get on youtube and watch the two technical videos that explain in every detail what all the buttons and setting do, and how to do stuff, so you familiarize yourself with all the features and functions, so you kind of know what and how is everything works when you get your car

First—congrats on your new ride. As most Lexus owners you can expect a great experience. In addition, the NX 350h is an amazing vehicle in many ways. If you can, go through the settings that are optional that you may want and that are only done at the Dealer. For example, there’s a setting on the FOB that allows you to roll down the windows and open the moonroof as you approach the car. Very nice in hot weather which you’ll still have. There may be others.

Thanks Oreon. Been trying to watch some videos. Some much more technology than the vehicle I’m leaving.
Should I wait until I have the car to download and setup the app? Does the setup go smoother that way?

Welcome to the club, and congrats on your upcoming NX350h! Before you hit the road, make sure everything's perfect by checking for any cosmetic issues, testing key features, and ensuring all promised accessories are included. Ask the dealer to confirm that the latest software updates are installed, and make sure you’re familiar with the car’s key features, like the infotainment system and driver assistance settings. Don’t forget to verify that all documentation is complete, and do a thorough walkaround to spot any issues. Make sure the tank is full, and enjoy your new ride and 45+ mpg (at least in my case) ! Looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

Great idea romer. Would like to find out if there are other useful things the fob needs to be programmed to do.

You can download and setup the app now, just do not add your car with VIN# just yet, that is all you can do right now, setup your app and remember the pin# !!!. When you get into your new car it would be faster for you to set everything up since your app would be ready and all your would have to do is pair your phone to your car.
