I filled my tank for the first time today, $50. bucks. As the Owners Manual says use 91 octane or higher, I selected the 91.
Here's a photo of the three octane choices I had, what do you all think ?

91 for turbo. 87 okay for other NXs ; but lots of NXers have octane anxiety. Lots of threads on octane , no substantial data proving anything other than 87 octane needed.
Thanks again, for one of the best posts yet on what octane is best for superb , efficient, NX performance and long engine life. Everyone should look at and study your URL link.

91 is fine. In CA the highest we can get is 91 unless you want to spend $$$ for racing fuel.

From your previous post, you have a NX350 - so 91 is what you will need.

My my someone's in a twist. It is just that octane discussions tend to fall into the same category as K&N filter discussions.
As others have noted here, consult your manual for what Lexus requires or recommends for octane. They aren't trying to trick you...they know something about their recommendations/requirements for fuel.
