as I’m very close to order a nx450h as my next company car, I was wondering if the infotainment system gives the possibility of having the split screen as it happens with my present car (bmw 3 series). I found very useful to have in the same moment a portion of the screen dedicated to navigation and, for example, another one to media information (what I’m listening to). Is it possibile?
thanks
Not at this time, although Lexus still updates the system once or twice a year so there is a small hope they will do so one day. However, you can get split screen with Car Play or Android Auto.

Toyota RAV4 Prime basically the same car as NX 450h has a split screen.
With Carplay Lexus will let you divide screen see my pic below. To the left is Maps, to the right media playing, and if I have a calendar entry that is coming up it shows above the media playing section. From here if you touch any of these elements they go into full screen mode, so touch the map and screen becomes all map.
Along the far left side is the native Lexus system (just newly updated) to quickly return home to the various native interfaces for navigation, media, phone, vehicle and general settings. The double row of 8 little squares in bottom left of screen will bring you back to Carplay home screen and display all the apps you have selected to be active in Carplay. In that same location while on the Carplay home screen you will see a similar symbol that has a larger square and 3 lines to the right of it, this will take you back to split screen function.
Not sure if the new Toyota Multimedia has the split screen. Are you saying the old infotainment system?
2022 RAV4 still had split screen. New 2023 Prius LE no longer has split screen. Not exactly sure when the old infotainment screen went away. The 2023 Prius is TNGA platform and level 3 safety and does not have split screen; similar to 2022 and newer NX, So if this is progress to get rid of "home screen" concept ,I am not sure I agree it is progress.
Revision L Just checked There is no longer a home screen or landing screen customization in the 2023+. RAV4

n iOS 17 and later, you and your passengers can all control the music that's playing through SharePlay and CarPlay. The driver must have an Apple Music subscription, but everyone else only needs iOS 17 or later.
Mid I have an XR which is now at the cutoff point for the upcoming iOS 18. I am receiving the 17 updates but that’ll be it I don’t think XR will make the cut for 18.
