Last week I purchased a 2025 NX 250 which overall I like very much. My biggest petty issue is the "bumpers" inside the cup holders. They are too restrictive, most likely due to all of the rattling complaints I saw when looking for an answer to my problem. Essentially, to get my water bottle to go into the cup holder I have to start from a few inches above and smash it in so the bumpers will give way. The cup fits perfectly, I was wondering if there was a way to tape them down or something? I don't want it to look bad or leave a sticky residue. I'm sure the easiest solution is to buy a different water bottle 😄 but mine is pretty standard. Any thoughts? Thanks.

 

Have a 2023 NX and 2024 RX both look like same cupholders and no problem with many different bottles whether plastic bottles or insulated tumbler. We both have these which keep bottles quiet from rattling and absorb moisture.
