Wireless charging on 2025 Models
My brother is in the market for a new car. We test drive a kia sportage and it had wireless charging. I put my phone on the charger during the test drive which was around 10 minutes. My phone went from 31% to 39%. It charged fast and phone didn’t slide around. Why is the Kia charger so much better than the Lexus charger??? The wireless charger is a huge pain point for me. Mostly because it’s an option that we are charged for and I purchased a Lexus and not a BMW or Mercedes because I expect the Lexus to be like an iPhone, for everything to just work. Anyways, onto my question.
If anyone has the new 2025 NX with wireless charging, has the wireless charger changed? If so, does it finally work? If it does, would we be able to swap the new one with the old one? Only asking because I think I read somewhere about an improved charger on the 2025.

I test drove a 25 NX yesterday, and the charging pad surface is much larger than the one on my 22 NX. It takes up most of the sliding cover, so I suspect a phone will have an easier time staying in contact with the charging pad. Some folks have reported having their old pads changed out under warranty.
I have a recently produced 2024 NX350h, and the pad is quite large and, surprisingly, I have had no difficulty charging the phone or having it slide around.
I say, "surprisingly," because that was a big problem with my 2022 RX 350 F-Sport.
