Default Strange sound when turning engine off

Whenever I come back from a drive and turn the engine off I hear a kind of swooshing sound that seems to come from the rear of the car. My suspicion is that it’s the ebrake setting itself. Anyone else experience this or know what it’s from?

Could very well be. If your e-brake is set to automatic, its a very noticeable sound.

It is definitely more noticeable if you have a window down or someone is getting in/out of the car and has the door open when the driver puts it in park.

Sounds like the Parking Brake Actuator engaging. Some people hear a sick cat sound like I do. Seems to get louder as my NX ages. Whether Lexus will act on it will depend as they seemed to dismiss it as normal according to some posters. It doesn't affect brake performance but I am going to bring it up at my next service.

Had the same sound issue with our Gen 1 NX so wasn't surprised that I heard it on our 22 NX350H. Nothing to worry about.
