i have noticed a couple of times when the engine is runing while da gear shifts there is a ratteling sound comin frm da engine and my engine check light came back again one more thing there is sum tick tick tick tick sound cumimn frm the rear exhaust

can any body please tell me whts is da prb

 

I had same problem in my 98 es 300. Several code came on chk eng. light. I think you may have problem with your knock sensors. When light comes on check codes. I had replaced mine with a help of a friend. Knock sensor parts was $171. and no labour charge. Dealer quote was $1300 to replace. Good luck.

 

at last all the problem is solved i had to change all the injectors

80$ x 6 injectors = 480$+labours charges= 560$

but now my car is runing fine
