Default TPMS reset

Anyone know how to reset low tire monitor light on a 2024 nx 350 f sport. I hit a small piece of wood on the side of the road. No flat or preasure leak in the tire but the light came on. No visible damage to anything. Thanks in advance

What does your display show the pressure(s) are at now?

Perhaps it's just a case of the pressure being low. It may have been borderline before your incident and this just got it down below the threshold. If the display shows it low, try putting some air in and see if that makes a difference

My app says 31 in each tire. The infotainment screen under car settings just has a straight line on them all.

31 is too low. You should fill them all to ~33 PSI or so when the tires are cold. That will likely fix the issue.

As for the display readings, that doesn't sound right. You need to have the car running for a short while for the readings to show up. The app shows what they were at a point in time, which shows up in the app. Might have been a day or so ago. But it does confirm the sensors are working..

I put air in tires and 5 minutes later the low tire alert went out. I'm surprised that a couple pounds of low air would give an alert.

If you have a tire pressure initialization button the stored pressures have probably been set higher than oem spec so it thinks the tires have dropped too low.

Well that's kinda the point, isn't it? You want the system to alert you that the pressure is lower than the set point. I think that might be 33 PSI. In the case of your 1 tire, it might have dropped below 30 when you hit that bump or it may have just been the ideal situation (air temperature) for it to drop below the threshold and trigger the warning, which made you take action to check and refill.

i filled to 32 psi in cool weather a few weeks back, but today it fell to about 40 degrees and my warning lights went off. Tires registed 29 psi on the Lexus app I feel like that cole 29 is still safe though, right? Also, is there a Hey Lexus command that'll display the tire psi? ...so I don't have to go into the app.?

I guess that depends, if you're using your phone app to look at the pressures, check the data sync time to see when it acquired the data. When the car is off the tire pressures don't constantly keep updating. You may be seeing 29 "hot", meaning potentially 25-27ish cold. That's low! The infotainment tire pressure display will be more up to date while driving, that's the best place to check (besides taking a gauge to the tire itself). I believe the TPMS system is by default set to 33 as the standard from the factory which is also the standard posted on the pillar label. If you want to run your tires slightly below recommended and want a little more leeway from warnings, you could reset the "standard pressure" TPMS uses as the reference value by using the Vehicle Customize... Tire Pressure settings on the infotainment screen.
