Default Weird Pandora Issue

We are still learning the ins and outs of how our NX350H interacts with our Samsung Smart Phones and the latest weirdness is with Pandora. We have used Pandora via Android Auto but more frequently listen to Sirius via the native Lexus app (at least I believe it is coming through the native app). When we enter the car with our phones I believe the vehicle automatically goes into Android Auto mode since the Waze screen shows up. I believe Pandora also shows up but the vehicle is actually playing Sirius since I assume it brings up the last audio source that was listened to. In any case when we are back in the house we often find the my wife's phone will randomly start playing Pandora (sometimes hours later) and we need to close it on the phone. So does entering the vehicle automatically launch Pandora on the phone and then put it in "pause" mode? That appears to be the case and I guess we just need to make sure that after driving we physically close the Pandora app on the Smart Phone.

Not sure if I am explaining this clearly enough but does this happen to anyone else?

While it won’t help the confusion between Sirius and Pandora, you can adjust android auto within settings on your phones and deselect “start music automatically…”

I don't use Pandora, as I typically use Spotify on AA. Whenever I do, when I leave the car Spotify continues to show on my phone in a paused state. Very easy to accidentally start it playing again if I don't close the app first.
