Help finding missing tools in trunk
I was caught off guard as well just like you. After I took the car home for the first time and started exploring things I of course looked in that cargo area and saw all of the empty slots (except for the screwdriver) and thought that the guys along the assembly line missed this. So I called the dealer to ask about the "missing" tools and they told me with runflats you get none. I also looked in the Owner manual and discovered the same thing. I didn't care for the look of a bunch of empty slots so the first thing I thought was to buy at least some of the basic tools like a lug wrench and socket. Then I started thinking about it and frankly cannot remember the last time I took off a lug nut or removed a tire--must be at least 20 years. And those were the days before runflats. If I had a problem I would just call AAA or stick enough air in the tire to limp to a tire shop.
That being the case I decided NOT to bother with getting any tools, although seeing a bunch of empty slots still bugs me.

On top of that, the fact that there are open slots where tools are supposed to be is killing my OCD.
I do not understand why Lexus is nickel and dime-ing us.
I just purchased the rear puddle lamps that replaces a dim single LED with 4 bright LEDs. Why is this not standard?
