So I called the dealer to ask about the "missing" tools and they told me with runflats you get none. I also looked in the Owner manual and discovered the same thing. I didn't care for the look of a bunch of empty slots so the first thing I thought was to buy at least some of the basic tools like a lug wrench and socket. Then I started thinking about it and frankly cannot remember the last time I took off a lug nut or removed a tire--must be at least 20 years. And those were the days before runflats. If I had a problem I would just call AAA or stick enough air in the tire to limp to a tire shop.

That being the case I decided NOT to bother with getting any tools, although seeing a bunch of empty slots still bugs me.
Seriously, I do not enjoy how new cars these days do not have a spare. I am paranoid about getting stranded in the middle of no where where AAA can't reach me.
On top of that, the fact that there are open slots where tools are supposed to be is killing my OCD.

I do not understand why Lexus is nickel and dime-ing us.
I just purchased the rear puddle lamps that replaces a dim single LED with 4 bright LEDs. Why is this not standard?

Lexus sells what it thinks people want. If only a couple people want the puddle lights. Why put them in every car?

Especially when they can charge you for it. Like all that subscription crap.
