Can't tell where on the car that photo was taken. Are you talking about what looks like scratches on the glass? If so, which glass, door Front or rear, windshield, back door.

If so, take the edge of your fingernail and see is the scratches are on the inside of the glass or the outside.

Every car has this problem you're rubbing your hand against the paint, often dirty. Get PPF or at least a ceramic coating to prevent this.

First - that needs a wash :-) It's from fingernails and is somewhat normal and will probably buff out. Now here come all the "get PPF and/or ceramic coating" comments.

You have a better solution? Let me guess, don't touch the car. And tell me why PPF is bad.

Wow, I could have sworn it was glass. But I can see it now. Like they said, it's most likely from fingernails, especially if the wife drives or maybe even keys. I keep my cellphone there when I drive. Now I have to go look at mine to see if mine is scratched.

You might be able to clean it up a bit with some Interior Cleaner. If in fact it is scratched, I'm not really sure how you could get them out. The only two options would be to replace that piece (if you can even get it) or cover it with something like a PPF or wrap material in black. I had Xpel PPF applied to my center console. I was able to use clear because the car is new and was only a week old when I put it on. They even have the Xpel PPF in a Gloss or Matte Black that would hide it.
Good luck.

Stop lending your car to Wolverine! I had mine done with APPF (Adamantium PPF) for this very reason.

Just remembered a couple of products I've used in the past on exterior trim. I am thinking you could try it.

Just a guess but maybe with the new electronic handles that recess behind the handle isn’t as deep and hence more prone to fingernail scratches???

if the scratches not too deep, you can probably use some compound to buff it out and put some "car door handle cup protector" on it.

Happens to a lot of cars, on my wife's car particularly. Dark color car stands out more. It will easily buff our with a coat of Klasse All in One (this is what I have been using for a long time).

I have seen door handle clear tape protector applies to my co-worker's Tesla. Personally I don't see the point, but to each their own I guess.

It happens to old previous gen NX as well. If you have a dark color NX you will see it.
