I have a rack from the dealer and it works but is is not very good and i was hoping someone had sourced a good aftermarket rack ?

-Some problems with the dealer rack

-It makes noise and whistles as you drive through and around 45-50 mph

-the allen head bolts stripped the 2nd time I removed the rack - the dealer did not have and said they could not order bolts - they literally told me to go to home depot - I did but the thread pattern on their bolts are different.

- I found Toyota bolts on Amazon that work but they are rusting.

-I have noticed the racks on pre-2022 NX look much nicer. Also my aftermarket Thules were much better on my previous vehicle.

 

I noticed that same wind noise on a test drive of an NX with a roof rack.

We haven’t purchased it yet for ours but this Thule one looks good, even though it’s a bit pricey.

I have the Thule Wing Bar Edge for my NX350h. Pricey, almost twice the price of OEM. But Thule has the channel that I need for the roof bike racks and the ski racks.

Very high quality and worth the price.

It's not worth the risk getting cheap roof bars from Amazon/ebay and risk it fail. Then it will really cost you.
