Default 2025 Lexus NX

Is anyone hearing any rumors yet? What changes can we expect.. It's probably early yet but someone might have some insight. I've heard integrated headlights and different color options. Who knows. Start digging and asking questions.

2024 did just release and it released earlier than most. I think you will need to wait until the end of the year for anything real. With that said I saw the vid that showed Cadmium Orange (my favorite) is being dropped. I would be surprised if some new color is not issued for 2025 to take its place.

Which video are you referencing? New interior colors would be nice.

Maybe they will fix the shaky drivers mirror. And of the gas fueling issue.

You know the ones that have plagued the RAV4 for over a decade

That would be a nice start to the update

I have a 2024 and don’t have the shacking mirror or gas tank issues.

Same here. The car has been bullet proof so far. The issue for me is when a car has an issue, which some will unfortunately (albeit far fewer with Lexus than most other badges) does the manufacturer resolve the issue? If not—it’s unacceptable.

Here's the YT vid about Cadmium Orange being cancelled.

I'll be glad when colors make a comeback.

The biggest and greatest change for 2025 NX hybrid will be the solid state battery that is lighter, charge faster and last longer. They also produce less heat. All other change will be very minor i believe.

I really wish that they can fix the gas tank reading accuracy, it was far off and i never had this issue with Honda in the past.

I don't see the solid state battery going into the NX anytime soon. It's too expensive making the NX skyrocket in price. Possibility the TXh/LXh/LSh/GXh would see it first.

Toyota announced they will only incorporate it to hybrids on 2025, i don’t think the price will skyrocket since it is only 1.6kW on hybrids, and the cost per kW should be no more than $200.

I am aware that they will put it in hybrids first, but Toyota/Lexus being them, they most likely put them in the low volume cars first. They won't put it in the top selling models that fast. It also depends where would the batteries be made. Most likely Japan and not from the US battery plant that is scheduled for 2025. So what hybrids that will come from Japan would make more sense at this time.
