Cruise control
You're not alone; the cruise button sequence sucks and is not intuitive. For reference, I specifically never use adaptive. If I come upon someone slower, I'll pull out to pass. No sense slinkying with the rest of the zombies at less speed than I want to travel; I got things to do, places to go, people to meet, yada, yada, yada.
The shortest radar is mostly ok, but why bother? I try to never click off cruise. I see a semi coming, check the side mirror and blind spot and simply move over. The key to making good time, especially on long trips, is to keep on keeping on, not farting around up and down, in and out of fast/slow traffic.

Tried it again today. My impressions? Too many things going on in that button cluster. Not for me.
