Default Backup camera not full screen

Just picked up my 2023 NX 450h+ about a week ago, the backup camera was taking up the whole screen and clear, today when I start the car and shift to reverse, the backup screen shrink to a smaller size, with 2 black border on each side, image seems is not as clear. I don’t have panoramic view. Anyone has this problem?

Happened to me as well. Fortunately, there is an easy fix - look at the lower left corner of the image, you'll see an icon you can tap to change the view. You're probably in fisheye mode, just tap the icon until you get it back to where it was.

Oh, and don't feel bad - it took me about a month of thinking I was crazy before I realized what had happened.

Yes, I’m aware of that button, when switch to normal mode, it has black area on top as well, just remember the screen was bigger before and take up the whole screen, maybe I’m wrong.

Hmm, well, it doesn't take up the whole screen on mine, either...once I got back to normal mode, it matched my initial experience again.

That is still wider and bigger than most back up cams in vehicles. The NX has an excellent back up cam and clarity is also excellent. It’s great to see Lexus finally get a decent quality resolution, the current IS model resolution cam is terrible.

Absolutely agree. My wife's 2015 Highlander has a potato camera by comparison!

What is wrong with this picture? Shouldn't the warning indicators be on the driver's side? The trash container is on the driver's side (assuming driver on the left) and the warning is for the passenger side.

It looks like it’s picking up possible item on drivers right side backing up (garbage can in distance) so it’s on the right side of screen.

This is correct. There's a lot of stuff in my garage very close to my car, so the proximity sensors beep and boop pretty much continuously as I enter and leave. That recycling bin is about 6" to the right and maybe 18" back on the passenger (right) side of my car.

Mine looks different and full screen. I guess I have a different set of parking options from the factory?

if you have the 'panoramic view monitor' option then it would take up the full width of the screen like @Thuwaragan has shown above

You can see in the pic(lower left) that he does have the Panoramic view monitor and Advanced Park buttons. The 2 touch symbols on the left of the screen toggle different view options.
