Default Heated Steering Wheel question 2024 Model

Lexus NX 350h build site for 2024 no longer has the stand alone 'Heated Steering Wheel' option. But the 2024 Brochure shows this: "Heated steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer and fast-response interior heater
(NX 250, NX 250 AWD, NX 350 AWD, NX 350
F SPORT Handling AWD, NX 350h AWD)"

My 2024 Premium has the Windshield Wiper De-Icer and Fast Response Interior Heater $250.00. It's silent about the heated steering wheel but I'm thinking/hoping it will be on the car when it arrives (ships from Japan tomorrow).

Does anyone know if this is the case on the 2024's?

The heated steering wheel is a part of the Cold Area Package on my incoming 2024 model for $250.

Nightlight--thanks for the response. That's what I'm hoping. Are you in the U.S.?

Yes in IL. The NX was built in Canada, but that shouldn’t matter when it comes to the available options.

Just confirmed by my SA that i indeed have the heated steering wheel. It's a change from how they added it to previous years. But...all's well that ends well.

The car is already built. It ships out of Japan tomorrow. I don’t have a’promised’ delivery date. Just a general expected time frame.

Congrats your wait is nearly over. Your post suggests (to me) that you might have special ordered your car and are being kept informed by your dealer or Lexus on the car's status? My sales guy claims all he can do is screen their monthly NX 350h allocations from Lexus and see if there is a car that matches my requirements. And the answer to that has been NO for four months.

No—my process was the same as yours. Took me six month before a car came matching my color requests with Premium package. I could have had several cars along the way that they offered but I always declined because of color plus I didn’t want the Luxury package.

First time post.
Hello to everyone in this helpful and fun forum. Have been reading a lot and really appreciate all the useful info.
I have 2024 incoming with a VIN number but the Cold Area Package listed for $250 on my car does not list heated steering wheel.
Should I expect a pleasant surprise or did Lexus eliminated the heated wheel from the Japan build cars?

Here's what it appears happened. In previous years the Heated Wiper and Quick Heat interior (my paraphrase) was a stand alone add on= $100.00. The Heated Steering wheel (Unless in the Luxury package) was also a stand alone add on= $150.00. For 2024 they've combined them into one package= $250.00. So no price increase but now you must get one if you want the other. I shared all this chatter and the things I saw in the 2024 NX Brochure with my SA and he then later confirmed my car will indeed have the Heated Steering Wheel as part of what I just explained. They just haven't updated the language for some reason but they have eliminated the Heated Steering Wheel add on when you build a 2024. It's not listed anywhere.
