Wheel Lock Bolt Stripped
I purchased a new set of winter tires and rims from a local tire shop 4 months ago. When I tried to change over the tires back to all-season, I discovered one of the lock bolt got stripped after I swapped out 3 tires myself already. I know that one cannot use impact wrench on lock bolt/nut so I was not the one who stripped it. I took the car back to the tire shop and they just denied their responsibility as I have done work on them myself. They claimed that they have no tools to extract a stripped bolt too. I ended up taking my car to my mechanic. The mechanic hammered a socket over the stripped bolt and extracted it out. He also replaced the other 3 lock bolts with regular bolts.
If you buy new tires or taking it to a shop for tire swapping, check the lock bolts right after.

It's very easy to strip out lug nuts/bolts if the tech is rushing, and/or using the wrong tool or an unoptimized tool. or using the right tool in a wrong way. so yes good advice inspect everything before and after. take pics before and after.
