Any quick switch from Android auto to radio?
Is there any shortcut or way to quickly change from Android auto to the radio without going through multiple steps. Often have to hit the Android auto first to get to the screen where I can select Lexus then have to select Lexus then have to find the radio. Also it would be nice if there was a way to have the radio on a box within Android auto but I guess you can't do that either.
I use the Hey Lexus voice command "Hey Lexus, show the map" to go directly from anywhere within Android Auto back to the native Lexus navigation screen (from where I can then switch to other native functions such as settings; radio; etc. using the icons on the side of the screen). You could try experimenting with finding a more direct "Hey Lexus" command that will take you straight to the radio screen (possibly something like "Hey Lexus, show me the radio" or "Hey Lexus, tune to ****" (where **** is the frequency of your desired radio station).
As you feared, there is no way to have the native Lexus radio function embedded anywhere within Android Auto.
Hope this helps.

Try this: have your radio stations saved in favorites. While in Android auto press "mode" on your steering wheel to switch between different radio (AM/FM/Satelite). While in that mode press < or > buttons to change your radio stations that are saved in Favorites.
You should see radios switch, but you would not see radio information on your large screen - just you will see short notification on the small screen behind steering wheel.

Turning off voice prompts helps with the voice commands at least for me. Now they're much quicker. I really couldn't stand the long winded ask for what I'm going to say and then repeat what I said. I prefer the beeps and now I can change screens pretty quickly with voice commands.
I just use Android Auto radio apps(there are many) instead of the semi clunky Lexus radio . They work great at least in the USA.
I have TuneIn free and iHeart apps and they can show local stations or any station, news, weather in the country really.
I listen to WDVE Rocks in Pittsburgh ,where I'm originally from, and listened to the last 40 years.
Download on android phone, active by checking box on Android Auto if needed .You can try them and if you don't like them ,just uninstall them. You can pay to not to have advertising but I use the free as the adverts are not that intrusive.
