Default 2023 Consumer Reports car issue

The gas vs hybrid ratings. I have 350h so agree with both excellent . Plus the 42 mpg for first 11 months of ownership overall doesn’t hurt!

I'm averaging 36 mph overall for the first 4 months. I've never read anywhere of an NX350h getting over 42mph. de is where? Europe?

I live in southern Delaware. USA. Locally 5-7 mile trips routinely 45-55 mpg or higher. We’ve had no winter to speak of. Even today got near 60 F and over 50 mpg in a local trip. Highway around 40 or more, but it was in mid to upper 0’s on coldest weather.
I’m 74 so my days of pounding the accelerator are long gone.
Also 91-93 octane only. Whether that affects anything?

I am in Wisconsin and I have come to realize that temperature is likely the biggest culprit. In January during sub-zero days, the vehicle was getting about 28 MPG. A few days ago, it was 50 F and I was getting 40 MPG. Hopefully in the summer, I assume I will be getting way above that. Also, I am only using 87. 91 or 93 might be getting me a few more MPGs, but the cost of gas is not worth it.

There must be something wrong with mine. I guess I'll take it in to the dealer for an inspection. I'm finding it hard to believe all these over 40mph claims though. Must be one offs

I'm averaging 46mpg. I use 93 octane and mostly city driving. In the "city" I am almost always in EV mode. I think that, coupled with the unusually warm winter here in PA, has helped get that higher mpg.
