Unhappy Shaky Drivers Side View Mirror

2023 Lexus NX 250 FWD
I just bought this car today. Driving home I noticed the side view mirror on the drivers side shaking as I drove on the interstate. I got home and realized I left my gate fob in my old car which I traded in. I called the salesman and told him about the issue. He said would see if the service dept could take a look when I drove back to get my gate fob. Service manager not available when I arrived. Was 3:30 pm and no tech could look at mirror. Salesman said shaky mirror is normal. WHAT??? Said drive it a few days then call back and make an appointment with service. After doing research on the web it seems like this is a known issue. I feel major duped and dealer isn’t willing or can’t fix the problem. I am so upset. A brand new car. You can’t drive a car with a mirror shaking and moving about. Any suggestions on a fix or what I can do?

Salesman are the last people to take advice from.

Make an appt. have them do a proper work order to have it looked at and go from there.

No point getting worked up about it until you have an official response from Lexus.

When you say shaky, are you talking about the 3 bolts that secure the mirror assembly to the door? Or the mirror lens itself?

If it's the bolts attaching to the door, that's an easy fix, I would think fairly self explanatory.

If it's the lens, also same easy fix, pull lightly on the mirror lens housing facing outward from either a top or bottom angle, and it may just need to be resnapped into place, or have some of that white goo adhesive stuff added in there for security.
