I just bought a used 2016 LEXUS NX200
and I was wondering why my own doesn’t have a standard back-up camera? Mine’s non f sport and base model.

I was wondering if this was normal for the NX Base Models.

Also doesn’t have fog lights.

 

When examining the rear hatch by the license plate is there a camera lens mounted there?
Both the back up camera and fog lights were standard on NX.
What is your location abbreviated "MNL" ?

Will have more photos of it tomorrow.
FOG lights aren’t removed though, they’re just a black molding there.
Also, when I hit reverse, the screen goes straight to the park assist sensors.


I was thinking maybe this was a test-drive unit / display unit? It was bought 12/2015 but on paper it’s a 2016 model.

 

Common in the USA for a 2016 model year car to be sold in the
autumn or winter of 2015. Option and standard equipment levels
vary by region, back up cameras are now required in the USA but
perhaps not in MNL?

It even has provisions for the backup camera and the fog lights.
Will have it checked at the Lexus dealership since it’s maintained there and I can get more information on it.
