I've had a situation where the parking brake didn't release on my 2017 NX200t twice in the past two weeks when I shifted from park(P) to drive(D). The car wouldn't move. The parking brake finally released after several attempts shifting from 'P' to another gear and turning off the engine and restarting. I've always had the parking brake set to 'automatic' since I owned the car. I've checked the owners' manual and could not find any information about this situation except not to drive the car with the parking brake engaged. Has anyone else ever had this situation and can you tell me what you did to correct it/ Right now I am using the car and do not have the parking brake set to 'automatic.'
