My 2017 NX has the original NAV version and it's just horrible. It seems that LEXUS hasn't had an update since 2018, which is amazing to me. I don't know if this year's planned update is even worth spending money on compared to just using the phone and writing off the NAV completely. ThoughtS?

 

it's not at all. Just use your phone. It's a shame you don't have a year newer as then you could have apple car play.

What does Lexus even charge to update the maps? I know on our Mercedes it was something like a couple hundred bucks which I just laughed at.

I updated our 2015 with a 2021. They comped me the labor but it was still over $100.

 

I use Waze but also like having a updated map, went by Lexus a few weeks ago and bought the 2021 map, and I installed it while I was driving home. Just popped the old micro SD car out, popped the new one in, and it took it from there. By the time I got home it was finished.
