Default Help! Aggressive BEEEEEEP Until I Exit My Car.

Hey All!

I'm new here. So, I am so sorry if this has already been discussed for the 2017 NX300T.

Every time I pull into my garage, turn my car off, then open the door (I live in a very hot climate. So, gathering my stuff with the car off and door shut isn't really an option), a loud, constant, unwavering BEEEEEEEEEEEP will rattle my brain. It actually makes gathering my stuff and remembering everything difficult. I really need to learn how to disable this, otherwise I'll just get a new car, but I really like Lexus!

If someone has already discussed the way to turn this beep off, please feel free to simply pass the link along to me.

THANKS!

remove seat belt after turning off engine. Or simply press the door button to stop the beeping.

Also, look on your dash and it will tell why it's beeping to alert you after you shut off the car.

For me, I have a tendency to lower the window open a little after I shut off the car, so it'll beep and say Window open.
