I can't figure out how to get my 2018 NX to update/find newly added contacts in my phone's contact list. My phone is connected to the car via bluetooth and I can use the voice command to search for and call contacts. When I first connected my phone to the car I declined to have my contacts synced/saved to the car, so I'm assuming it's just been accessing my contacts list on my phone every time I search for and call a contact.

The issue I'm having is that after the initial connection setup, the car is unable to find contacts I've added since or updated the name of. I've tried restarting the car as well as rebooting my phone but the car won't recognize contact updates unless I unpair/repair, which is a PITA.

Any ideas? Thanks,

 

Delete the phone, and re-pair it. And set the sync contacts setting in the phone BT setting .
