Lexus safety connect issue or normal ?
Hey Everyone! I just enrolled my 2018 nx safety connect free trial that is still active for 2 years . I noticed that even if I am enrolled the led indicator is always red except if I start the car it flashes green for 1 second and after it’s back to red as i start driving. Isn’t it suppose to stay solid green ? Contacting safety connect works fine the green light flashes during the call and the red stays solid but once I hang up the red light is back on and no more green light ? Anyone here can clarify if this is normal or an issue with the system?
thanks !

It should not stay red. That indicates there's a problem somewhere. Have the dealership look at it.
If the car is enrolled and everything working fine, it should stay solid green after starting the car.
If the car isn't enrolled, neither light will be on.

just notice today mine 2018 stay in solid red as well.
if my common sense are right shouldn't SOS button should be red right like all the emergency exit signs?

SOS Button Not Working, Bluetooth problem - when receiving calls or making calls in car, I cannot be heard:
I just had this issue in my 2018 Lexus NX. I went to the dealer and they disconnected the negative terminal from my battery for 30 mins. Then reconnected and the system was rebooted. The problem is that my SOS button has failed. That's why if I receive calls or make calls through bluetooth, I could not be heard. Also, the location of my car was not updating on the Lexus Enform App. The tech said it's all linked in with the SOS button. The reset worked so now bluetooth and Enform App are working but not the SOS button. It can fail again. Tech stated I need a new Telematics DCM (electronic part). This part costs $918.16!!!!! The labor for 2 hours to install is $576.00!!! So total is approx. $1500!!!!!! I can't afford this!!! THIS IS NOT MY FAULT - IT SHOULD BE A LEXUS RECALL!!!
